Game 5 of the World Series features the St. Louis Cardinals hosting the Boston Red Sox at 8PM ET with the series tied, 2-2 (View Matchup). The Red Sox have Jon Lester taking the mound to dace Adam Wainwright of the Cardinals. According to oddsmakers at, the Cardinals are favored at home, as they have odds of -120 to win, while the Red Sox have odds of +110 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 7 runs.

Boston tied up the series at 2-2 with a 4-2 win in Game 4 on Sunday. The big play in the game was a three-run home run for Jonny Gomes, which put Boston up 4-1 in the sixth inning and allowed the Sox to lead the rest of the way. St. Louis threatened late, but was unable to get the big win. David Ortiz continued his strong series by going 3-of-3 at the plate with two runs scored. Matt Carpenter had two hits for St. Louis and drove in one of two runs.
