Game 6 of the ALCS features the Boston Red Sox hosting the Detroit Tigers at 8PM ET (View Matchup) with the Red Sox leading the series, 3-2. The Tigers have Max Scherzer taking the mound to face Clay Buchholz of the Red Sox. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Red Sox are favored at home, as they have odds of -120 to win, while the Tigers have been given odds of +110 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 7 runs.

The Red Sox took a 3-2 lead in the series thanks to a 4-3 win at Detroit in Game 5. Boston managed to win two of the three games in Detroit to have two shots at closing the series out at home. Koji Uehara picked up a 5-out save with the one-run lead while Mike Napoli had three hits and scored two runs. His home run in the second inning put the Sox up 1-0 and they never trailed from there.
