Game 4 of the ALCS features the Detroit Tigers hosting the New York Yankees at 8:05PM ET (View Matchup) from Comerica Park with the Tigers lead the series, 3-0. The Yankees are sending their ace, C.C. Sabathia to the mound to face Max Scherzer of the Tigers. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Yankees are the slight favorite in this game, as they have odds of -110 to win, while the Tigers have a money line of +100. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 7 runs. The Tigers come into the contest with a 94-76 overall record and 53-31 mark at home. The Yankees are 98-72 overall and 45-39 on the road. The Yankees went 2-0 against the Tigers this year with Sabathia on the mound. Scherzer has yet to start against New York this year.

Due to the Tigers needed just one win to reach the World Series, a series price is no longer available in the ALCS. The Tigers took a 3-0 series lead on Tuesday night with a 2-1 win at home. Justin Verlander threw 8.1 innings, allowing just one run and three hits in the process to earn the win. Phil Coke came on to record the final two outs, striking out Raul Ibanez with two runners on to end the game. Delmon Young had a solo home run in the fourth to put the Tigers ahead and Miguel Cabrera had a RBI double in the fifth. Eduardo Nunez hit a solo home run off of Verlander in the ninth for the Yankees’ lone run.
