Game 4 of the ALCS features the Detroit Tigers hosting the Boston Red Sox at 8PM ET (View Matchup). The Tigers are sending Doug Fister to the mound to face Jake Peavy. According to oddsmakers at, the Tigers are the favorite at home, as they have odds of -127 to win, while the Red Sox have a money line of +117 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 7 runs.

The Red Sox took a 2-1 lead in the series on Tuesday as they picked up a 1-0 win over Detroit. John Lackey pitched 6.2 scoreless innings, allowing just four hits with eight strikeouts for Boston. Mike Napoli scored the lone run on a solo home run in the seventh inning. Justin Verlander allowed the home run, but it was his lone mistake, as he pitched eight innings, allowing just four hits and one run with 10 strikeouts.
