Nats score six in 10th
Washington blew a 4-0 lead Saturday night by giving up four in the bottom of the eighth inning at Miami, but rebounded with a six-run 10th inning to prevail 10-4. Wander Suero threw a perfect inning of relief with no strikeouts to pick up the win. Adam Eaton helped lead the Nats offensively as he finished 3-for 6 with a run scored and an RBI. Asdrubal Cabrera went 2-for-3 with a walk and an RBI. Yan Gomes was 2-for-5 with a double, a run scored and an RBI. Austin Voth draws the start today for Washington as he enters with a 1-1 record, 3.58 ERA and 1.16 WHIP plus 36 strikeouts over 32 2/3 innings pitched.
Dean drives in three
Miami rallied from a four-run deficit before faltering in the 10th Saturday night in a 10-4 home loss against Washington. Austin Dean helped lead the Marlins offense as he went 1-for-4 with a double and three RBIs. Harold Ramirez finished 2-for-4 with a walk and a run scored. Miguel Rojas finished 2-for-5 with two doubles and a run. Jose Urena suffered the loss in relief as he allowed three earned runs on three hits with four strikeouts and one walk over 1 2/3 innings. Pablo Lopez takes the mound today for Miami as he comes in with a 5-8 record, 4.94 ERA and 1.18 WHIP plus 91 strikeouts over 102 innings of work.
MLB Betting Trends
Washington

Miami
The Marlins are 18-37 in their last 55 Sunday games. Miami is 0-6 in its last six home games.
Prediction:
Betting is all about finding spots and I think we might have one here for the Marlins. They fought back last night and now face a rookie pitcher in addition to the Nats having a shaky bullpen behind him. Lopez has been better than the numbers suggest and while Washington has hit him hard the last couple times he’s faced it, time has allowed for adjustments to be made. I like Miami to steal one here as the Nats might be a little too comfortable sitting atop the NL Wild Card standings.
