Brock Burke took the loss as he was shelled for seven earned runs on five hits with no strikeouts and two walks over two-thirds of an inning. Lance Lynn gets the start tonight for Texas as he enters with a 14-11 record, 3.77 ERA and 1.24 WHIP plus 224 strikeouts over 195 2/3 innings pitched.

Oakland cruised to a 12-3 home win Saturday night over Texas to improve to 94-61 overall and 52-28 at home. MLB Betting Trends
Texas
The Rangers are 0-4 in their last four road games. Texas is 1-4 in its last five Sunday games.
Oakland
The A’s are 4-1 in the last five Roark Sunday starts. Oakland is 57-25 in its last 82 games overall.
Prediction:
Lynn has had a very respectable season and has dealt with a hitter’s ballpark and poor defense behind him. But he isn’t likely to get a lot of run support here as the Oakland pitching staff has been locked in lately and the Texas batters are struggling. It might be low-scoring, but I think the A’s come out on top today.
