MLB Betting Trends
Philadelphia
The Phillies are 1-4 in their last five Sunday games. Philadelphia is 7-16 in the last 23 Velasquez road starts.
New York
The Mets are 1-7 in their last eight home games. New York is 10-4 in the last 14 Syndergaard starts.
Prediction:
Aside from a horrendous start against the Cubs, Syndergaard has been in great form lately and with the Mets firmly in desperation mode I expect another fantastic start out of the power righty. Velasquez is inconsistent on the other side of the coin and the Mets should be able to get on base frequently and put themselves in position to put up a decent amount of runs and enough for Syndergaard to coast to a win.
