Castillo homers in loss
Chicago lost by a score of 10-7 at Atlanta Friday night to drop to 60-74 overall and 27-39 on the road. Welington Castillo paced the offense off the bench as he hit a pinch-hit three-run home run. Eloy Jimenez went 2-for-4 with two runs scored. Leury Garcia ended the game 1-for-5 with two RBIs. Ivan Nova took the loss as he surrendered five runs (four earned) on eight hits over four innings, striking out none and walking two. Reynaldo Lopez draws the start tonight for the White Sox as he enters with an 8-11 record, 5.08 ERA and 1.44 WHIP plus 144 strikeouts across 152 1/3 innings pitched.
Albies has four-hit night

Ozzie Albies led the offensive effort as he finished 4-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI. Tyler Flowers went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, a walk, two runs and three RBIs. Freddie Freeman ended the night 2-for-5 with a double, a run and two RBIs. Max Fried picked up the win as he allowed four runs (three earned) on four hits with 11 strikeouts and one walk over six innings. Mark Melancon recorded a strikeout against the only batter he faced to pick up the save. MLB Betting Trends
Chicago
The White Sox are 2-5 in the last seven Lopez interleague starts. Chicago is 19-40 in its last 59 Saturday games.
Atlanta
The Braves are 6-0 in their last six home games. Atlanta is 4-1 in the last five Keuchel starts.
Prediction:
Atlanta has been tough at home all season and while the White Sox typically fares better against lefties, the fact that Keuchel is an extreme groundball pitcher who doesn’t give up many home runs hurts their chances. Lopez has been pitching better the last month or two, but I don’t trust him against this Braves offense. Go with the hosts to win again.
