MLB Betting Trends
Oakland
The Athletics are 6-1 in their last seven Friday games. Oakland is 7-1 in the last eight Anderson road starts.
New York
The Yankees are 44-13 in their last 57 home games. New York is 31-11 in the last 42 Sabathia home starts.
Prediction:
New York had a day off for travel and getting back situated at home, while Oakland had a day game yesterday in which its bullpen was heavily involved. Anderson has done a pretty good job of keeping the ball in the yard this season with only 18 home runs allowed, but he’s in a bandbox of a stadium against a power-packed offense. Sabathia has been in a rut, but he should get run support and his bullpen is in better shape than his opponent’s.
