Bet Tonight’s Giants vs. Dodgers Game
SAN FRANCISCO: Moore struggled in his last outing, a loss to the Mets last Saturday, allowing three runs on five hits over five innings of work. He struck out three on the afternoon and also issued three walks. Yoenis Cespedes had a RBI double in the first inning off Moore and then hit a solo home run in the third. In four starts with the Giants, Moore is now winless with a 4.70 ERA. Good thing San Francisco overpaid to get him at the trade deadline.
LOS ANGELES: With both Brett Anderson and Scott Kazmir landing on the disabled list on Tuesday, Stripling draws the start for the Dodgers tonight. He has made 15 total appearances in 2016 with 11 starts. He owns a 4.04 ERA, a 1.25 WHIP and 53/23 K/BB ratio over 71 1/3 innings of work. He was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma on Wednesday.

OUR PICK: There’s simply no reason to back the Giants right now. They’ve lost four in a row, six in a row versus a team with a winning record, and five in a row within the division. They’re also 1-6 in their last seven games coming off a loss, are 1-8 in their last nine when their opponent scores two runs or less in their previous game, and are 5-14 in their last 19 road games. With several of the balls put in play last night in their 1-0 loss to the Dodgers could have left the yard in other ballparks, nothing is going their way at the moment.
