The over/under total for the game has been set at 7 runs. The Cardinals are just 3-9 in their last 12 trips to San Diego while the Padres have hit the over in 17 of their last 22 contests.
The Tampa Bay Rays (62-61) look to win their fourth straight on Sunday when they are on the road to face the Oakland Athletics (53-71) at 4:05PM ET. The Rays have Jake Odorizzi (6-6, 3.02) on the mound to face Kendall Graveman (6-9, 4.27). Oddsmakers have the Rays as a -125 favorite on the road, while the Athletics are getting odds of +115 at home. The over/under total has been set at 7.5 runs. Oakland is just 2-9 in its last 11 games coming into today, but the Rays are only 10-19 in their last 29 road games. Oakland has hit the under in 20 of its last 32 at home and these two have hit the under in 9 of their last 13 meetings.
The Minnesota Twins (62-61) look to also win their fourth straight today when they are on the road to face the Baltimore Orioles (62-6) at 1:35PM ET. The Orioles have Kevin Gausman (2-5, 4.48) on the mound to face Mike Pelfrey (6-7, 3.62) of the Twins. Oddsmakers have the Orioles as a -160 home favorite, while the Twins are getting odds of +145 to win. The over/under total has been set at 8.5 runs. Minnesota has won seven straight meetings over the Orioles, including all six meetings this season. The Orioles are just 2-8 in Gausman’s last 10 starts on grass.
