San Francisco Giants Fantasy Spin
Steven Duggar will not require surgery on his left shoulder. Duggar was placed on the injured list on August 8 with an AC joint sprain. He paid a visit this weekend to Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who recommended 4-6 weeks of rest and rehab rather than a surgical procedure. Duggar is probably done for the remainder of the 2019 season, but the young outfielder should be 100 percent leading into the start of spring training next year.
Chicago Cubs Fantasy Spin
Anthony Rizzo went 3-for-3 with a pair of homers, a walk and three runs scored to lead the Cubs to a 5-3 win over the Giants on Tuesday. Rizzo has matched his 2018 total of 25 homers and overtaken his 2018 total of 74 runs scored in 32 fewer games. With 37 games left, he has a shot at scoring 100 runs for the first time in his career; he’s at 77 right now. He’s also a pretty good bet to get the 21 RBI he needs for a fifth straight year of reaching 100.
MLB Betting Trends

Chicago
The Cubs are 38-16 in their last 54 home games.
Prediction:
The Giants have had all kinds of issues winning in Chicago, dropping 16 of their last 21 meetings with the Cubs at Wrigley Field. The Giants are also 3-10 in Rodriguez’s last 13 starts when facing an opponent with a winning record and are 5-13 in his last 18 outings overall. The Cubs, meanwhile, have won five of Yu Darvish’s last seven home starts.
