MLB Betting Trends
Zack Godley (13-6, 4.20 ERA) draws the start today for the Diamondbacks, while the Padres are going with Clayton Richard (7-10, 4.98).
Arizona
The under is 7-3-1 in the last 11 D-backs games overall. The over is 7-3-1 in the last 11 Arizona road games.
San Diego
The Padres are 5-22 in their last 27 home games. San Diego is 14-39 in its lst 53 games overall.
Prediction:
Godley has pitched great baseball over the last couple months and the Padres struggle a lot against right-handed pitching. I don’t think anyone has to overthink this one. Of course anything can happen in baseball, but right now the D-backs are a much better team playing good baseball at the moment and have the much better starting pitcher on the mound.
