Marlins lose another
Miami has dropped nine of its last 11 games after suffering a 14-run loss against the Dodgers. The Marlins are 44-74 overall, 24-38 at home and 55-55 with the over/under total. Miami has Elieser Hernandez on the mound today. He is 2-4 on the season with a 4.94 ERA.

Los Angeles
The Dodgers are 5-2 in their last seven road games and 38-15 in their last 53 games against NL East opponents.
Miami
The Marlins are 2-7 in their last nine games on grass while going 15-32 in their last 47 games against a left-handed starter.
Prediction:
Kershaw got an extra day of rest and now will pitch today. He continues to be a dominant pitcher that has really turned things up over the last month. He had a 1.44 ERA in July and has a 2.08 ERA thus far in August. Hernandez is coming off a solid start against Atlanta, but he just is no match for Kershaw and the Dodgers. He gave up four runs to Los Angeles in just 0.2 innings of work earlier this year.
MLB Prediction: Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 (-150)
