Los Angeles Angels Fantasy Spin
Mike Trout belted a two-run homer and plated three runs Saturday in Boston. Prior to this one, Fenway Park was the only American League stadium in which Trout hadn’t homered. He can now cross it off the list after he put one over the Green Monster off of Rick Porcello in the sixth inning. Trout also was credited with an RBI after he was hit on the arm by a pitch with the bases loaded. He was taken out of the game after that, although it looked to be a precautionary move with the Angels up big.
Boston Red Sox Fantasy Spin
Sam Travis belted a solo home run Saturday in the Red Sox’ loss to the Angels. Travis had some issues in left field defensively in the top of the seventh inning but tried to make up for it in the bottom of the frame with a long blast over the center field wall. He also plated a run earlier in the game with a sacrifice fly. Travis has been getting regular starts against lefties lately and has homered in two of his last three games.
