Mets win sixth in a row
New York secured a 4-2 victory Wednesday night at Chicago as a go-ahead Todd Frazier RBI single and a two-run single from Michael Conforto put the Mets ahead in the top of the ninth inning. Zack Wheeler gets the start tonight as he enters with a 7-6 record, 4.71 ERA and 1.27 WHIP with 137 strikeouts over 124 1/3 innings.

Chicago lost by a 4-2 count at home Wednesday night versus New York to drop to 46-59 overall and 27-27 at home. Leury Garcia paced the offense as he finished 2-for-5 with a solo home run. MLB Betting Trends
New York
The Mets are 5-0 in their last five interleague road games. New York is 1-4 in its last five Thursday games.
Chicago
The White Sox are 1-7 in their last eight home games. Chicago is 0-4 in its last four versus the NL East.
Prediction:
Wheeler has been inconsistent, but the Mets struggle against power righties and he fits that description. Cease is highly hyped, but is still trying to figure out MLB hitters and I expect his struggles to continue today. I like the Mets to win a seventh straight as crazy as that sounds. Maybe they have an NL Wild Card push in them after all?
