MLB Betting Trends
Pittsburgh
The Pirates are 3-13 in their past 13 games. Pittsburgh is 1-4 in its last five games versus the NL East.
New York
The Mets are 4-1 in their last five games overall. New York is 5-11 in its last 16 Sunday games.
Prediction:
I don’t know if this is the right time to bet on Pittsburgh, but streaks have to be broken at some point. The Mets aren’t exactly the most consistent unit and I still tend to fade Vargas more than I bet on him. I’m taking a shot on Pittsburgh to get back on the winning side of the coin today behind what should be a much better offensive effort.
