Los Angeles Dodgers Fantasy Spin
Corey Seager went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and RBI in a win over the Nationals on Saturday. Seager doubled in a run in the fourth inning off of Joe Ross, and it became a Little League homer after he scored on an error by Adam Eaton on a throw. He’s now driven in 43 runs on the season, and the 25-year-old shortstop is now slashing .277/.357/.446 in his 81 games with the Dodgers. Solid numbers, and he’s been much better than that as of late.
Washington Nationals Fantasy Spin
Yan Gomes went 1-for-4 with a homer in a loss to the Dodgers on Saturday. Gomes hit his solo homer off of Joe Kelly in the seventh inning, and it had no impact on the game as it came with the Nationals trailing 9-2. It’s the fifth homer of the season, and he’s still hitting a rather unhealthy .213/.305/.325 in his 62 games in 2019.
MLB Betting Trends
Los Angeles
The Dodgers are 8-2 in Buehler’s last 10 starts, including 4-1 in his last five outings on the road.
Washington
The Nationals are 80-30 in Strasburg’s last 110 starts and are 40-19 in his last 59 outings at home.
Prediction:
Despite hitting the over yesterday, the under has been profitable when these two teams have met. The under is 4-1-1 in the last six meetings and is 5-2 in Jeremie Rehak’s last seven games behind home plate. The under is also 7-3-2 in Buehler’s last 12 starts after the Dodgers scored five runs or more in their previous game and is 39-15-2 in Strasburg’s last 56 home starts.
The Pick: Dodgers/Nationals UNDER 8.5
