WHITE SOX: The White Sox are 4-0 in Sale’s last four starts verus National League Central opponents, are 5-0 in his last five starts versus a team with a winning record, and are 8-1 in his last nine interleague starts. They’re also 12-2 in Sale’s last 14 outings following a quality start in his last appearance and have won 15 of his last 20 starts as well.
CUBS: The Cubs have lost six of Lackey’s last seven starts and are just 3-5 in their last eight games versus the American League Central. They’re also just 2-5 in their last seven games versus a starter with a WHIP less than 1.15 and have lost six of their last nine interleague home games versus a left-handed starter.

OUR PICK: Take the White Sox, especially with Sale on the hill in an underdog role. They’ve won seven of his last 10 road starts and have won four of five overall. They’re also 11-5 in their last 16 interleague road games versus a right-handed starter and once again, offer bettors tremendous value as an underdog and their ace on the hill.
