Nicholas Castellanos, Christin Stewart and Niko Goodrum all went 1-for-4. Drew VerHagen took the loss as he gave up seven runs (six earned) on six hits with four strikeouts and four walks over four innings. MLB Betting Trends
Detroit
The Tigers are 30-67 in their last 97 road games. Detroit is 15-41 in its last 56 Friday games.
Seattle
The Mariners are 25-52 in their last 77 games overall. Seattle is 7-21 in its last 28 games against a left-handed starter.
Prediction:
The Tigers are dreadful and even though the Mariners struggle against left-handed pitching, I can’t trust Norris here. Kikuchi has had some rough spells this season, but when he’s on he has the ability to be an adueqate starter. He should find success here against a weak Detroit lineup. On a moneyline this low, I can’t recommend anything but Seattle.
