MLB Betting Trends
Detroit
The Tigers are 30-66 in their last 96 road games. Detroit is 0-4 in the last four VerHagen starts.
Seattle
The Marliners are 1-7 in their last eight Thursday games. Seattle is 24-52 in its last 76 games.
Prediction:
VerHagen takes the place of previously announced starter Daniel Norris, while the only suspense that remains appears to be who the Mariners’ opener will be ahead of Wade LeBlanc. Look for Seattle to pound on VerHagen, who has shown little in his MLB career. The line will likely tilt further in favor of Seattle soon, so jump on it early when an updated moneyline comes out and consider the runline.
