The featured game of the day has the Los Angeles Angels hosting the Detroit Tigers at 10PM ET. The Tigers have Drew Smyly (6-8) on the mound to face Tyler Skaggs (5-5) of the Angels. According to oddsmakers at, the Angels are favored at home, as they have odds of -130 to win, while the Tigers have a money line of +120 to prevail. The over/under total has been set at 8 runs. Detroit is 57-42 on the season and 31-17 on the road while Los Angeles is 59-41 overall and 34-19 at home. Detroit has won three of four against the Angels this season, including Thursday night’s series opener in Los Angeles.

Another featured game today has the San Francisco Giants hosting the Los Angeles Dodgers at 10:15PM ET. The Giants have Tim Lincecum (9-6) on the mound to face Zack Greinke (11-6) of the Dodgers. Oddsmakers have the Dodgers slightly favored on the road, as they have odds of -115 to win, while the Giants have a money line of +105 to prevail. The over/under total has been set at 6.5 runs. The Dodgers are 56-47 overall and 31-23 on the road while San Francisco is 57-45 overall and 28-25 at home. The Giants have won seven of their last 10 against the Dodgers and the two have hit the over in their last two meetings.

Another featured game today has the Cincinnati Reds hosting the Washington Nationals at 7:10PM ET. The Reds have Alfredo Simon (12-4) on the mound to face Tanner Roark (9-6) of the Nationals. Oddsmakers see this game as even, with each team having odds of -105 to win. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 7.5 runs. Washington is 55-44 overall and 25-24 on the road while Cincinnati is 51-50 overall and 27-21 at home. Cincinnati has won three of its last four against the Nationals, including two of three meetings this season.
