The Rangers jumped out quickly on Seattle on Tuesday, putting up six runs over the first three innings of play. The team finished with four home runs as Rougned Odor homered twice and drove in three runs while scoring three times. Nomar Mazara and Shin-Soo Choo both had solo home runs as well. Texas used a relief starter on Tuesday, but Pedro Payano got the win in relief, throwing five innings and allowing just one run with seven strikeouts.

Prediction:
Texas avoided falling below .500 on Tuesday to end the surprising skid for the Rangers, who had been playing pretty good ball for most of the season. Now they look to establish a win streak behind one of their top pitchers. Minor has been pretty strong this year, but Texas has lost his last three outings. Still, he has had two solid starts against Seattle this year already. Leake is coming off a complete-game shutout of the Angels last week, but has struggled with the Rangers this year. In two starts against Texas, he has a 10.80 ERA, allowing 16 runs, 12 earned, over 10 innings. Texas is definitely the better team and that should show itself today as the Rangers have the edge on the mound and at the plate.
MLB Prediction: Texas Rangers -150
