Friday's MLB Odds


(TheSpread) – The MLB Season gets back to action on Friday. Here is a look at the odds for the 15 games set to take place tonight.

The featured game of the day has the Boston Red Sox hosting the New York Yankees at 7PM ET (View Matchup). The Red Sox have Felix Doubront on the mound to face Andy Pettitte of the Yankees. According to oddsmakers at, the Red Sox are favored at home, as they have odds of -150 to win, while the Yankees have a money line of +130 to win. The over/under total for the game has been set at 9.5 runs. New York comes into the game at 51-44 overall and 23-21 on the road while Boston is 58-39 overall and 31-16 at home. Boston has won four of the six meetings this year, with all the games coming in New York. The two have hit the under in three of their last four meetings.

The other featured game of the day has the Washington Nationals hosting the Los Angeles Dodgers at 7PM ET (View Matchup). The Nationals have Stephen Strasburg on the mound to face Ricky Nolasco of the Dodgers. According to oddsmakers, Washington is the favorite at home, as the Nationals have odds of -160 to win this game, while the Dodgers have a money line of +140 to win. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 7.5 runs. Los Angeles is 47-47 overall and 20-24 on the road while Washington is 48-47 overall and 27-18 at home. Los Angeles has won two of the three meetings with Washington this year, but those games came in L.A. The two have hit the under in five of their last seven meetings.
