LAS VEGAS, NV (TheSpread) – The AL East features some of the most historic franchises in baseball. Which team will emerge as the division champs this season?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Baltimore Orioles are favored to win the AL East, as they have odds of +120 to win. Other short odds are the Toronto Blue Jays (+225) and the New York Yankees (+275).

Baltimore is currently leading the division by four games with a 52-42 record. The Orioles are 26-23 at home and 26-19 on the road. Baltimore is an eight-time AL East champion, with the last title coming in 1997.

Toronto is 49-47 on the season and in second in the division, four games behind the Orioles. Toronto is 25-21 at home and 24-26 on the road. The Jays have won the division five times, the last title coming in 1993.

New York is currently 47-47 on the season, five games out of first place. The Yankees are 18-23 at home and 29-24 on the road. The Yankees have won the AL East 18 times, with the last title coming in 2012.
