Top four in order send Rockies to win
Charlie Blackmon finished 2-for-4 with a double and a run in yesterday’s 4-1 win over the M’s. Ian Desmond was 2-for-4 with a triple, a run and an RBI. Nolan Arenado finished 2-for-4 with an RBI. Trevor Story went 2-for-4 with a run. Carlos Gonzalez went 1-for-3 with a 2-run homer plus a walk.
Mike Leake (8-6, 4.36 ERA) will start today for Seattle, while Colorado turns to Tyler Anderson (6-3, 3.76).
MLB Betting Trends
Seattle
The Mariners are 6-2 in their last eight Sunday games. The over is 6-1-2 in the last nine meetings in Colorado.
Colorado
The Rockies are 3-7 in their last 10 home games versus Seattle. Colorado is 6-18 in its last 24 Sunday games.
Prediction:
The Rockies are played fantastic baseball at home right now and Anderson has done a pretty good job of navigating around Coors Field. I expect him to have more success today than Leake, who was hit hard his last start at the Angels. The over could be in play as more runs should cross than yesterday, but taking the Rockies is my strongest advice.
