LAS VEGAS, NV (TheSpread) – The 2014 MLB Season is at is All-Star Break. Here is an updated look at the odds to win the World Series this season.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Oakland Athletics are favored to win it all, as they have 5/1 odds. Other short odds to win are the Detroit Tigers (6/1), the Los Angeles Dodgers (6/1) and the Los Angeles Angels (9/1).

Oakland has the best record in the majors at 59-36. They currently hold a 1.5 game lead on the Angels in the AL West. Oakland is a nine-time World Series champ, with the last title coming in 1989.

Detroit is 53-38 entering the All-Star break. They have a 6.5 game lead in the AL Central, which is the largest lead in any division. The Tigers have won the World Series four times. The last title came in 1984.

The Dodgers are 54-43 on the season, which is the best record in the National League the Dodgers have a 1 game lead in the NL West. The Dodgers have won five World Series titles, the last of which came in 1988.

The Angels are 57-37 on the season, which is the second best record in all of baseball. The Angels are 1.5 games behind Oakland in the AL West. The Angels have one World Series to their credit, which came in 2002.
