The featured game of the day has the Detroit Tigers hosting the Los Angeles Dodgers at 7:08PM ET. The Dodgers have Hyun-Jin Ryu (9-4) on the mound to face Justin Verlander (7-7) of the Tigers. According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Detroit is the slight favorite, as it has odds of -110 to win, while the Dodgers have a money line of +100 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 8.5 runs. Detroit is 48-37 on the season and 23-22 at home while Los Angeles is 51-40 overall and 29-17 on the road. These two split two games in Los Angeles this season. The Dodgers have won three of their last four while Detroit has lost three straight coming in.

Another featured game today has the St. Louis Cardinals hosting the Pittsburgh Pirates at 8:15PM ET. The Cardinals have Carlos Martinez (2-3) on the mound to face Vance Worley (2-1) of the Pirates. Oddsmakers have the Cardinals favored at home, as they have odds of -120 to win, while the Pirates have a money line of +110 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 7.5 runs. St. Louis is 48-42 overall and 25-19 at home while Pittsburgh is 47-42 overall and 18-22 on the road. These two have split 10 meetings this season and they have pushed or hit the under in seven of the 10 games.

Another game of note is an interleague game with the Washington Nationals hosting the Baltimore Orioles at 7:05PM ET. Washington has Doug Fister (7-2) on the mound to face Bud Norris (7-5) of the Orioles. Oddsmakers have the Nationals favored at home, as they have odds of -155 to win, while the Orioles have a money line of +145 to win. The over/under total for the game has been set at 8 runs. Baltimore is 49-40 overall and 26-19 on the road while Washington is 48-40 overall and 28-19 at home. Baltimore has won five of its last six against Washington while the two have hit the over in four of their last five meetings.
