The featured game of the day has the Oakland Athletics hosting the Toronto Blue Jays at 4:05PM ET. The Athletics have Tommy Milone (6-3) on the mound to face Marcus Stroman (4-2) of the Jays. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Oakland is favored at home, as it has odds of -135 to win, while the Blue Jays have a money line of +125 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 8.5 runs. Oakland is 52-33 overall and 25-15 at home while Toronto is 47-40 overall and 22-19 on the road. Toronto has won three of four meetings with Oakland this season, but the Athletics won Thursday’s series opener.

Another featured game today has the Cincinnati Reds hosting the Milwaukee Brewers at 7:10PM ET. The Reds have Alfredo Simon (10-3) on the mound to face Kyle Lohse (9-2) of the Brewers. Oddsmakers have the Reds favored at home, as they have odds of -120 to win, while the Brewers have a money line of +110 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 8 runs. Milwaukee is 51-35 overall and 27-17 on the road while Cincinnati is 43-41 overall and 19-18 at home. Cincinnati has won five of seven meetings this season with Milwaukee and the two have hit the over in six of their last nine meetings.

Another game of note today has the Cleveland Indians hosting the Kansas City Royals at 7:05PM ET. The Indians have Josh Tomlin (5-5) on the mound to face Yordano Ventura (5-7) of the Royals. Oddsmakers have the Indians as the slight favorite at home, as they have odds of -110 to win, while the Royals have been given a money line of +100 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 8 runs. Cleveland is 41-43 on the season and 23-15 at home while Kansas City is 44-40 overall and 23-18 on the road. These two have split the season series 3-3, with the home team winning five of six games. They have combined to hit the over in seven of their last 10 encounters.
