PITCHING MATCHUP: Jacob deGrom will start for the Mets tonight, sporting a 0-3 record with a 3.44 ERA. The Cardinals will counter with Carlos Martinez (0-3, 4.67), who is making a spot start for the injured Adam Wainwright. New York enters play with a 31-38 record and is 15-18 on the road this year, while St. Louis is 37-32 overall and 19-14 at home.
