NEW YORK, NY (ATS Consultants) - The Cubs will look to finish off their sweep of the Mets when the two teams clash today at 1:10PM ET from Citi Field.

ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Mets are -113 money line favorites over the Cubs, who are +104 on the ML. The total, meanwhile, is currently sitting at 7.5 runs with Matt Garza set to oppose Jeremy Hefner.

LINE MOVEMENT: The Mets opened as -108 money line favorites but those odds have climbed to -113, while the Cubs' odds have gone from +100 up to +104. Chicago enters play with a 28-38 overall record and is 13-17 on the road, while New York is 24-39 overall and 13-23 at home.

PUBLIC BETTING: Of the current wagers placed on tonight’s game, 55% of the betting public currently favors New York. This information is subject to change, however, so make sure you click on the link provided for the most updated numbers.

MLB FREE PICK: Take Chicago. According to latest MLB trends, Chicago Cubs are 6-1 last 7 on the road in series, 5-1 last 6 road games with the total set of 7.0-8.5, 4-1 in Garza's last five starts and 8-3 in Garza's last 11 starts during game 3 of a series. New York Mets are 17-35 last 52 overall, 5-16 last 21 home games vs. a team with a losing record and 0-7 last 7 as a favorite.

The Cubs send Matt Garza (1-1, 6.26 ERA) to the mound against Jeremy Hefner (1-6, 4.11 ERA). While Garza has struggled, his numbers are inflated because of a horrible start against Cincinnati on June 11, as he gave up nine runs to the Reds in a 12-2 loss. He has a much better chance against a terrible Mets team that is hitting .221 as a club and averaging just 3.80 runs per game. How bad is the Mets' offense? They haven't scored more than five runs at home in their last 25 games going back to April 25. They've also lost six of their last seven games on their current homestand. Garza is also going to a pitcher's park in Citi Field. Hefner has pitched well as of late, but hasn't gotten much run support. He did all four runs against the Cubs on May 18 in just four innings. The Cubs found a team that they can take advantage of.
