Chicago Cubs DFS Spin
Kris Bryant went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts Monday in the loss to the Mets. Bryant entered June with a 1.016 OPS, but he’s gone 6-for-41 with one homer and 12 strikeouts this month, dropping him down to .915 for the season. His Statcast numbers never really backed up his early results, so perhaps this is something of a correction.
New York Mets DFS Spin
Dominic Smith went 2-for-3 with a homer and a walk Monday in the Mets’ 5-2 takedown of the Cubs. Smith was 3-for-31 with 13 strikeouts in his last nine games before coming through tonight. He’s going to need to pick it up to avoid losing some playing time as the Mets begin to get healthier. He’s hitting just .244/.312/.358 this season, which isn’t going to cut it for a bat-first player.
