The featured game of the day has the Atlanta Braves hosting the Pittsburgh Pirates at 7PM ET (View Matchup). The Pirates have Jeff Locke on the mound to face Mike Minor of the Braves. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Atlanta is the favorite at home in this one, as the Braves have odds of -160 to win this game. Pittsburgh has been given odds of +150 to win, while the over/under total for the contest has been set at 7 goals. Atlanta is 35-22 overall and 19-7 at home while Pittsburgh is 35-23 overall and 14-12 on the road. Atlanta won the series opener on Monday, which snapped a three-game losing streak to the Pirates. The other featured game of the day has the Boston Red Sox hosting the Texas Rangers at 7PM ET (View Matchup). The Red Sox have Ryan Dempster on the mound to face Justin Grimm of the Rangers. According to oddsmakers, the Red Sox are the favorites at home, as they have odds of -130 to win, while the Rangers have odds of +120 to win. The over/under total for this game has been set at 9.5 runs. Boston is 35-23 on the season and 17-12 at home while Texas is 35-21 overall and 17-13 on the road. Texas has won five straight over Boston, including three meetings in 2013. The two teams have also hit the under in seven of their last nine meetings.
