Brewers vs. Cubs Prediction
Can the Brewers stay red-hot with another upset victory over the Cubs today at 2:20PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Cubs are -195 money line favorites versus the visiting Brewers, who have odds of +182 to pull off the upset. With Chase Anderson set to face Jake Arrieta in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 8.5 runs.

From Rotoworld: Anderson was lifted after allowing two runs in 4 2/3 innings Wednesday against the Red Sox. If Anderson had gotten one more out, it would have resulted in a win; he left a 2-2 game in the fifth and then watched the Brewers score four times in the bottom of the inning. It’s the second straight start in which Anderson has just missed completing five innings. He still has the nice 2.97 ERA on the season.
Arrieta surrendered four earned runs over six innings Sunday in a loss to the Cardinals. Arrieta gave up a two-run homer to Yadier Molina in the bottom of the second and another two-run shot to Matt Carpenter in the bottom of the third. He again struggled with his fastball velocity, sitting 90-91 mph for much of the afternoon. Arrieta has an unsightly 5.44 ERA on the season.
Bet Today’s Brewers vs. Cubs Game
OUR PREDICTION: The Brewers are 4-0 in their last four games, are 8-1 in their last nine games against a right-handed starter, and are 7-3 in their last 10 games against the rest of the National League Central. Milwaukee has also won seven of its last eight games against a starter with a WHIP greater than 1.30, is 6-1 in its last seven games when its opponent allows five runs or more in its previous game, and has won five of six against a team with a winning record. With Arrieta not pitching well at the moment, this is another opportunity to cash on a red-hot Brewers team.
