Twins vs. Indians Pick
The Minnesota Twins and Cleveland Indians cap off an AL Central weekend series today at 1:10PM ET. What’s the betting play for today’s contest?
The Indians have Trevor Bauer on the mound to face Tyler Duffey of the Twins. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Cleveland is favored at home today, as the Indians are getting odds of -135 to win, while the Twins have a money line of +125 to prevail. The over/under total is listed at 7.5 runs.
Minnesota is 9-26 on the season, 3-16 on the road and 19-14-2 with the over. Cleveland is 17-16 overall, 9-7 at home and 17-13-3 with the over. The Indians won the series opener 7-6, but the Twins bounced back yesterday with a 9-3 win. The Twins have actually won three of five over Cleveland in 2016.

The Twins aren’t a team we look to catch fire right now, as they have plenty of problems. Cleveland has been pretty strong coming off a loss, as they are 10-5 this season in that case. Duffey has been a bright spot for Minnesota on the mound, but he still is 0-2 despite a 2.60 ERA. Bauer comes in at 3-0 thanks to solid run support, but he has the stuff to keep Minnesota from helping Duffey out. Look for the Indians to pick up a win.
