Tigers struggling to win in St. Louis
ST. LOUIS, MO (The Spread) – Interleague play comes to St. Louis tonight when the Cardinals host the Tigers at 8:15PM ET in a rematch of the 2006 World Series.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Cardinals are -130 money line favorites versus the Tigers, who are +120 money line underdogs. The total, meanwhile, is sitting at 8 runs.
The Tigers are just 1-6 in their last seven trips to St. Louis and are 1-5 in their last six games as an underdog. They’re also 2-5 in their last seven games coming off a win and are 1-4 in their last five after scoring five runs or more in their previous game.
On the other side, the Cardinals are 8-1 in their last nine games versus a team with a winning record and are 4-0 in their last four during Game 1 of a series.
