The White Sox send Carlos Rodon to the mound today to face Clay Buchholz of the Red Sox. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Boston is the slight favorite on the road today, as the Red Sox are getting odds of -110 to win, while Chicago has been given odds of +100 at home. The over/under total for the game is not listed.
Chicago is 19-8 on the season, 7-3 at home and 16-8-3 with the under. Boston is 15-11 overall, 7-4 on the road and 13-12-1 with the over. Chicago took the first game in the series, 4-1, on Tuesday night. The White Sox have won five of their last eight meetings with Boston.

This should be an interesting matchup as both teams have played pretty well as of late and both have questionable pitchers on the mound. While Buchholz has a 6.51 ERA compared to a 4.33 of Rodon, Clay’s last three starts (4.82 ERA) have been much better than Carlos’ (7.07 ERA). Still, the Sox are 0-5 when Buchholz has taken the mound this season and now he is pitching on the round against a hot team. Chicago has won four straight at home and we like them to make it five straight tonight.
