The featured game today has the Miami Marlins hosting the Los Angeles Dodgers at 1:10PM ET. The Dodgers have Stephen Fife (0-0) on the mound to face Jose Fernadez (4-1) of the Marlins. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Miami is the clear favorite at home, as the Marlins have odds of -180 to win, while the Dodgers have a money line of +170 to prevail. The over/under total for the game has been set at 7 runs. Miami is 15-15 on the season and 13-5 at home while Los Angeles is 18-13 overall and 12-4 on the road. The two have split the first two games in the series, but the Dodgers have won six of their last eight against the Marlins

Another featured game today has the Kansas City Royals hosting the Detroit Tigers at 2:10PM ET. The Tigers have Justin Verlander (3-1) on the mound to face Jason Vargas (2-0) of the Royals. Oddsmakers see Detroit as the slight favorite on the road, as the Tigers have odds of -120 to win, while the Royals have odds of +110 to win. The over/under total for the game has been set at 7.5 runs. Detroit is 16-9 on the season and 7-4 on the road while Kansas City is 14-15 overall and 8-6 at home. The Tigers have won the first two games in the series and have now won five straight overall meetings with the Royals, including four this season.

The third game of note today has Boston Red Sox hosting the Oakland Athletics at 1:35PM ET. The Red Sox have John Lackey (4-2) on the mound to face Sonny Gray (4-1) of the Athletics. Oddsmakers see this game as even, as each team has been given odds of -105 to win, while the over/under total has been set at 8.5 runs. Boston is 15-16 on the season and 8-10 at home while Oakland is 18-12 overall and 12-6 on the road. Boston has won the first two games in this series and the home team has won four straight between these two.
