Mariners vs. A’s Prediction
Will tonight’s American League West matchup between the Mariners and A’s be a low-scoring affair for bettors at 10:05PM ET? Read on for our prediction.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Mariners are -115 money line favorites versus the A’s, who have odds of +105 to pull off the upset. As for the total, the number currently sits at 7.5 runs with Nathan Karns set to face Kendall Graveman in the pitching matchup.
Bet Tonight’s Mariners vs. A’s Game
Karns was fantastic on Tuesday in Seattle’s 11-1 win over Houston, surrendering zero runs while allowing just two hits over seven innings. He did walk three but was otherwise spectacular. He struck out six batters on the night and now owns a 3.68 ERA, a 1.41 WHIP, and a 24/12 strikeout-to-walk ratio over 22 1/3 innings.
Things did not go well for Graveman in his last start, however. He was touched up for six runs over 4 2/3 innings in a loss to the Tigers on Monday. He struck out four batters on the night but allowed 10 hits, including three home runs. Even with the poor outing, the 25-year-old owns a 2.04 ERA over his first three starts to the 2016 season.
