With Pujols out, Angels dogs vs. A’s
OAKLAND, CA (The Spread) – Angels’ star Albert Pujols is expected to avoid the disabled list after leaving Wednesday’s game with hamstring tightness.
Pujols is set to miss at least a couple of games, which includes today’s contest versus the A’s at 3:05PM ET. C.J. Cron will start at first base unless the club decides to call up Efren Navarro. Collin Cowgill and Grant Green could also receive some extra at bats with Pujols on the mend.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, the A’s are -108 money line favorites over the Angels, who are +100 money line underdogs for totals game. The total is currently sitting at 7.5 runs.
Garrett Richards will oppose Jesse Chavez in today’s pitching matchup.
