Houston Astros Fantasy Spin
Yuli Gurriel delivered a game-tying RBI double in the seventh inning on Sunday night, helping to lead the Astros to a come-from-behind victory over the Indians. The Astros had been completely baffled by Carlos Carrasco through the first six innings of the game, but with two outs in the seventh, Gurriel came through with a critical run-scoring hit to tie the game. He then rode home on the go-ahead three-run blast by Robinson Chirinos. Gurriel finished the day 1-for-4 and is now hitting .250/.303/.390 with one homer and nine RBI.
Minnesota Twins Fantasy Spin
Max Kepler homered for the third consecutive game on Sunday as the Twins defeated the Orioles 4-1 to complete a three-game series sweep. Kepler led off the the contest with a 396-foot blast to right-center field off Orioles starter Dylan Bundy. It was his seventh round-tripper of the season and fourth in his last three contests. He also doubled and scored a run in the third inning to record his seventh multi-hit effort in 21 games. The 26-year-old outfielder’s power surge isn’t surprising given the league-wide proliferation in over-the-fence power this year, but it’s elevated him from a rather pedestrian option at the position into a true upper-echelon fantasy asset. He’s hitting .274/.340/.571 with 15 runs scored and 16 RBI across 94 plate appearances and appears to be firmly entrenched atop the Twins formidable lineup.

Despite all of the quality bats in Houston’s lineup, the under is also 4-0-1 in the Astros’ last five games overall and is 17-8 in their last 25 games away from Minute Maid Park. Finally, the under is 6-1 in Odorizzi’s last seven home starts.
