Pirates vs. Dodgers Sunday Prediction
The Pirates and Dodgers couldn’t hit a lick last night in L.A., as the two teams combined to score just four runs. Will the under also hit on Sunday when the Bucs and Dodgers wrap up their series at 4:10 p.m. ET?

Pittsburgh Pirates Fantasy Spin
Cody Bellinger walked and stole his fifth base of the season in the Dodgers’ win over the Pirates on Saturday. Bellinger was held hitless, going 0-for-3 in the contest, but still managed to draw a one-out walk and swipe second base in the eighth inning. He’s arguably been the most valuable hitter in fantasy baseball, with the exception of Brewers’ slugger Christian Yelich, so far this season.
Los Angeles Dodgers Fantasy Spin
Gregory Polanco delivered a pinch-hit single in the Pirates’ loss to the Dodgers on Saturday. Polanco came off the bench to deliver a line-drive single to right field off Dodgers lefty reliever Caleb Ferguson in the eighth inning. The 27-year-old outfielder isn’t hitting for a ton of power, but he’s batting .353 (6-for-17) in five games since coming off the injured list earlier this week. He’s worthy of a speculative stash in all fantasy formats, considering his tremendous upside.
MLB Betting Trends
Pittsburgh
The Pirates are 4-1 in Trevor Williams’ last five road starts and are 4-1 in his last five outings overall.
Los Angeles
The Dodgers are 7-1 in Rich Hill’s last eight starts.
Prediction:
The Pirates are awful, just awful against left-handed pitching. They scored only two runs on Friday night versus Ryu and managed just one against Clayton Kershaw last night. While Ryu and Kershaw can make plenty of hitters look bad, the Pirates weren’t even competitive. I expect the Bucs to struggle against Hill and for the score to fall under the total again today at Dodger Stadium.
The Pick: Pirates/Dodgers UNDER 8
