The featured game on the day has the Washington Nationals hosting the St. Louis Cardinals at 7PM ET (View Matchup). The Nationals have Ross Detwiler on the mound to face Adam Wainwright of the Cardinals. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, this game is even, as each team has a money line of -105 to win, while the over/under total has been set at 7 runs. Washington is 10-9 on the season and 6-4 at home while St. Louis is 11-8 overall and 7-6 on the road. Including the series opener, St. Louis has won four of its last five meetings with the Nationals. These two teams have hit the over in six of their last nine meetings.

The other featured game on the day has the Boston Red Sox hosting the Oakland Athletics at 6:30PM ET (View Matchup). The Red Sox have Alfredo Aceves on the mound to face Bartolo Colon of the Athletics. According to oddsmakers, the Red Sox are a slim favorite at home, as they have odds of -110 to win, while the Athletics come in with a money line of +100. The over/under total for the game has been set at 8.5 runs. Boston is 13-6 overall and 6-4 at home while Oakland is 12-8 overall and 6-4 on the road. Boston won the series opener on Monday, but the Athletics had won eight straight against the Red Sox prior to that.
