Brewers vs. Dodgers Friday Prediction
The Brewers red-hot offense was suffocated in Anaheim earlier this week, as the Crew combined to score just 12 runs in three games. That said, is there value in the over tonight when the Brewers visit the Dodgers at 10:10 p.m. ET?

Milwaukee Brewers Fantasy Spin
Travis Shaw was diagnosed with a contusion in his right hand after leaving Wednesday’s game against the Angels. Shaw was hit in the hand by a Felix Pena offering, and while he initially stayed in the game, it was clear that the third baseman was in pain. The Brewers are calling him day-to-day, but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Shaw miss a game or two. It’s worth pointing out that Milwaukee has a day off on Thursday before taking on the Dodgers starting Friday.
Los Angeles Dodgers Fantasy Spin
Corey Seager departed Thursday’s game against the Cardinals with a left hamstring contusion. Seager suffered the hamstring contusion when he took a Giovanny Gallegos pitch off his left leg in the top of the fourth inning. It doesn’t seem to be an overly serious thing. He’s listed as day-to-day.
MLB Betting Trends
Milwaukee
The Brewers are just 1-4 in their last five games versus the Dodgers in L.A.
Los Angeles
The Dodgers have lost five of Jose Urias’ last six home starts.
Prediction:
According to Rotogrinders, Milwaukee right-hander Corbin Burnes has thrown his four-seamer 53.9 percent of the time this year and opposing batters have taken him deep five times off that pitch. Max Muncy and this L.A. offense has feasted off opposing pitchers at home and with the total sitting at only 8 tonight, I see value in the over. In the Dodgers’ last seven home games, the over is 6-1. In their last 14 games overall, the over is 10-4. Hopefully the Brewers bring their bats tonight after being held to two runs in two of their three games in Anaheim this week.
The Pick: Brewers/Dodgers OVER 8
