Oakland A’s DFS SPIN
Matt Chapman went deep off of Trevor Bauer for his first home run of the season on Wednesday. The only run the Athletics scored prior to the seventh inning came on a wild pitch. That changed when Chapman led off the seventh with a no-doubter over the left-center field wall. Chapman also singled to lead off the ninth inning and scored the tying run. The A’s wound up capturing their first win of the season on a Mitch Moreland walk-off single in the 10th. Chapman entered this one with just two hits in his first six contests, so hopefully this gets the third baseman going.
Houston Astros DFS SPIN
Kyle Tucker belted his third home run of the season Tuesday against the Angels. After Carlos Correa popped out to lead off the top of the second inning, Tucker ripped one 103 mph over the center field wall. It was the first of back-to-back home runs, as Aledmys Diaz followed with a solo shot of his own. Tucker has five hits on the season, but three of them have left the yard.
A’s vs. Astros Betting Prediction
The A’s are 0-5 in their last five games against the Astros and are 0-5 in their last five games versus the rest of the American League West. Meanwhile, the Astros are 5-1 in their last six games overall, are 41-10 in their last 51 games following an off day and are 60-21 in their last 81 games when playing the first game of a new series.
