The lone game to start the season is an AL clash as the Houston Astros host the Texas Rangers at 8:05PM ET (View Matchup). The Rangers are sending Matt Harrison to the mound to face Bud Norris of the Astros. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Rangers are favored on the road in this game, as they have odds of -145 to win. The Astros have been given a money line of +135 at home. The over/under total for this game has been set at 8.5 runs.

Texas was 93-69 last season and 43-38 on the road while Houston went just 55-107 overall and 35-46 at home. The Astros are making the jump from the National League to the American League this season. These two teams met six times last season with Texas winning five of the six meetings. The Rangers have also won 10 of their last 12 games against the Astros in Houston.
