Braves’ 2015 Season Betting Odds
ATLANTA, GA (The Spread) – After a busy offseason, how many games will the Atlanta Braves win in the 2015 MLB regular season?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Braves are 66/1 long shots to win the 2015 World Series and are 28/1 long shots to win the National League Pennant. They also have an over/under of 73.5 for number of games they’ll win in the regular season.
One of the biggest moves the Braves made this past winter was trading outfielder Jason Heyward to the Cardinals in exchange for starting pitcher Shelby Miller. But they weren’t done, as they also dealt fellow outfielder Justin Upton to the Padres in exchange for left-hander Max Fried, infielder Jace Peterson, third baseman Dustin Peterson, outfielder Mallex Smith and the fourth international bonus pool slot.
In free agency the Braves signed Nick Markakis to a four-year deal and also added catcher A.J. Pierzynski, and relievers Jason Grilli and Josh Outman. Eric Young Jr., Eric Stults and Wandy Rodriguez were signed to minor league contracts.
