According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, Giancarlo Stanton of the Marlins is the current favorite to hit more home runs than any other MLB player in 2017 at 8/1. The three players with the next-best odds are Chris Davis of the Orioles, his Baltimore teammate Manny Machado, and Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado, who are all 15/1, respectively, to lead the league in home runs this upcoming season.

Continuing with the odds, the Cubs' Kris Bryant is in the discussion at 16/1, while Bryce Harper of the Nationals, Josh Donaldson of the Blue Jays, Kyle Schwarber of the Cubs, Mark Trumbo of the Orioles, Miguel Sano of the Twins and Mike Trout of the Angels are all 20/1, respectively. Nelson Cruz of the Mariners has 30/1 odds to lead the MLB in home runs this year.

Brian Dozier of the Tiwns and Rougned Odor of the Rangers are also 50/1, respectively, to lead the league in long balls.
