Harper focused on knee rehab
OXON HILL, MD (AP) - Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper says he wants to focus on the upcoming season, rather than dwell on his injuries last year.
The 21-year-old star says he's working to rehabilitate his left knee from surgery in October. He says he probably won't be at 100 percent when spring training begins.
The two-time All-Star was limited to 118 games last year because of several injuries. He twice ran into outfield walls chasing balls. Harper hit .274 with 20 home runs and 58 RBIs.
Harper spoke Saturday at the Nationals' annual fan convention.
