Will Louisville rout Kentucky tonight?

Louisville Kentucky college basketball NCAA Tournament odds March Madness

NEW YORK, NY (The Spread) – The highly anticipated matchup between Kentucky and Louisville is expected to be close. But should one team be on blowout alert tonight?

All eyes will be on the Louisville- Kentucky match-up tonight. You have some well-known analysts throw their support to the Wildcats to make an even deeper run in this tournament. I will disagree and will put Kentucky on blowout alert tonight as the Cardinals are the superior team in this matchup.

Louisville is the real deal and they can play multiple types of defenses to adapt their opponent. I liked Kentucky against the Shockers but will go against them tonight. The Wildcats are young and talented but tonight they will play a more physical, mature, solid team. The Cardinals are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 NCAA Tournament games and 4-0 ATS in their last four Friday games.

I expect Russ Smith to break out of his slump tonight and lead the Cardinals to victory tonight. Russ Smith knows what it takes to be a Champion as he led the Cardinals last year to the title. Kentucky's five freshman will be overwhelmed tonight, period.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Cardinals are only a 4-point favorite tonight over the Wildcats. I think this one could be a blowout.
